the media coverage is beginning to pour in.

hutcho fortunately doesn't have *all* the photos... (and right this second he has none of the photos - some problem there, mate)

henry gives his restaurant critique (Oba, the following night was marvelous too).

and some pics. i was being careful with my new birthday present from brian and didn't take as many pics as i should have. bad me.

there was a LOT of shopping and walking and beveraging in between photos.

b. really wanted to drive through the rose district, which i'd never seen, it was pretty. there were enormous round-abouts all planted with roses...

and lots of groovy older houses...

and big bananas.
