the weekend was fantastic. lots of wonderful fun in portland (such a great city), great food, great shopping, and i can't say this clearly enough: SKYDIVING WAS FUCKING AMAZING. seriously. we were the only group able to jump, at the end of the day, due to weather. so the 4 of us who went had our own private jump, from 13,000 feet. and oddly, it really wasn't scary. getting out of the plane was the easy part.
it was great - the whole thing, lots of friends, good stuff, my dearest bestest friend grace (who can deal with wrangling 12 people and is the hub to the wheel), the best boyfriend ever who made everything fantastic.
i am now 40. but, orange is the new black, monkeys are the new orange, and 40 is the new 30.
