it's been a lovely weekend. yesterday we managed to pretty much stay in bed all day. about 6pm we put on clothes and got some food outside of the house. but other than sleeping in we did more online shopping for a new computer for me. long overdue, i'm leaving the world of desktops and i ordered me a super fast new laptop. woo. we went to frye's on friday and did a little impromptu comparison shopping, which finally put us back to cnet, where we belonged, in the editor's choice section.

so, i sucked it up, spent a pile of cash, but got a great deal on a refurb from dell. i'm pretty excited. in particular because about half an hour after i ordered the new computer the laptop that i've had on loan started acting funky.

once you have wireless broadband you never go back. i have no idea how we survived without it for a week, let alone months and months and months.

anyway. that's pretty much the news. and i got some new shoes.
