this is before during and after - the total investment was paint (granted, 4 coats and touch up) and a rug from ikea (half price in as-is). we still need (to make) art for the empty wall...
but it's so much nicer, especially at night.

Posted by: Erin on April 15, 2004 01:14 PMit really wasn't that bad. i had to do a bunch of touch up with small brushes, and paint over the orange paint that i got on the white ceiling, but that wasn't a problem. just remember the prep is most of the work. :) paint makes such a huge difference! i've done a lot of home repair things but i've never actually painted my own walls. i have to say i'm very happy with it.
