little man b moves from splint to soft bandage today. you can see him below in his new old navy polarfleece outfit. i had to go back and get bigger shirts. fortunately it was a grand total of about $6. plus, the vet said "oh we tell people to use shirts like that all the time"... funny, they didn't tell ME. it would have been so much easier to start out with a shirt instead of re-bandaging twice a day.

speaking of which (and do NOT click on this link and then complain that it's a gross picture - be warned - and do not click if you are bugged by this stuff) - wanna see my stiches? it's from yesterday, not the one from the hospital, so it's not as bad as it could be...

Hmmm. What size shirts from Old Navy does Buck wear? I'm thinkin some wardrobe upgrades for my dogs may be in order. I know Old Navy sizes run a little off.
Posted by: Kristin in Seattle on March 26, 2004 10:13 AMbuck is currently in mediums - i think it's kid sizing. one shirt says 8 (the old navy), one of the other shirts says medium 10-12. and he's about 60 pounds. i think i'm going to donate the smaller ones from last week to the animal hospital. value village is seriously the place to go. and i highly recommend the shirt thing if your dog tends to fuss and/or lick. usually buck doesn't, but all the bandages were bugging him.
