it's always a balance between sleep and projects. saturdays inevitably end up being sleep-in days. frequently due to recouperating from friday night or preparing for saturday night. or both.
now that it's nearly 1pm i should get out of bed and do something useful. yeah, maybe when i finish my coffee. there are several projects calling from the basement. sometimes the projects end up on the walls. b. and i did woodblock prints awhile back - actually rubberblock prints with the new really nice soft rubber stuff that you carve. in the midst of printing them we slapped them onto the bathroom walls downstairs (see above). the benefit of having a semi-finished basement is that you can do stuff like that and not feel like you're insane. or maybe it's just the glee of knowing that mom can't yell at you for painting the walls.
