happy christmas eve. it's the same crazy family as usual. i'm trying hard to behave and not revert to acting like i'm 9. so far so good.

this is the best christmas in a very long time due to the presence of the uber fantastic super duper boyfriend. it's the best thing i could ever ask for to have him here with me. the worst years are not being in the same place and spending hours on the phone wishing to be somewhere else. i don't wish to be anywhere else right now. but i'd love to have buck here. that's it.

other than that it's perfect. crazy family included, it's fine. and so, even though we're having pizza for christmas eve dinner because that's what my mother started complaining about at 3pm, even though the parental dynamic is just as wacky as ever, it's still very christmas.

very merry holidays to all. and let me just reiterate that i'm damned thankful for the boy.
