That's what secret, password-protected Diaryland journals are for!

Perhaps you should get a paper journal...that way you can keep it completely secret. Plus, there is just something special about holding a book full of your thoughts.

I think it's just that I've gotten used to this format. :) I have great hardback lab books that I use for journals, but I kind of stopped a couple years ago. It would do me good to go back to them. I like that the blog is here - I suppose I'm a bit of an exhibitionist that way. But I rarely write about specifics of things here. Point well taken however. :)

I wish that I could be consistent with journaling. My attempts (blog or book) are only written in if I am exceedingly giddy or completely down. I'd like to look back on something that reflected a day in my life...like your blog does. I bet if you tried a secret blog, everyone would find you! I think once people are hooked, their hooked.

i've become quite fond of livejournal in the last year or so, since i began to need a secret journal. now i can pick who reads, or pick no one. i just can't do a paper journal for some reason. and it also never feels secret enough...
