being fortunate in so many ways
being employed (and it's fun)
a healthy niece and nephew

a comfortable bed
broadband and my wacom tablet
too many books in my den on a rainy day
that there are people who want someone elected other than the incumbent president
days with light traffic
lightning storms
doggie daycare
good teeth
tomatoes, basil, olive oil, wine
slippers
erin the checker at the grocery store
willie the funny asian man at the quick stop
finding that $950 check a month ago
being able to get a reissue of same

vaccinations
refridgeration
the web and how it's revolutionized information distribution
a nice scarf
small things that bring joy
