to one: i am trying. to keep perspective. to appreciate. to live in the now.

to another: i am trying. to find a balance at a distance.

to another: i am trying. apparently not enough or well enough.

to another: i am trying. to find some way without complicating anything.

it is not like it sounds. although misunderstanding is creeping in. new possibilities are blooming, and possibly old friendships are in question. it is weird to be in a place where on one hand you can do no wrong, and on another (with decades of history) you can do no right.

this is all vague, i know. there is a miasma of strings and ties and emotions and feelings that i'm feeling at a loss about. recent events have added to the soup.

ultimately i shouldn't be writing about it here. and ultimately emotional matters of the heart are not linear and have a different map from day to day.
