thrift score

dansk kobenstyle paella pan Once again, in the land of thrifting there was a nice find over the weekend. I found a vintage Dansk Kobenstyle paella pan for $5. Sweet. It's kind of beat up in one area, but it's a lovely piece of design, and I'm happy with it even if it just sits there and holds stuff.

It was also a lovely weekend for the zoo, so we went off to see the bears. It was so packed, but very nice to go as a family. Munkeeboy and I might make a trip on a weekday soon, just to have a quiet walk.

In other news, sending nice little baby shower annoucements for a friend is more writing than holiday cards. Who knew.

Ooooo--total score! I love Dansk stuff. We had a Dansk store in my hometown and I always went in and drooled over what I would get "when I grew up." I now have a Dutch oven, which I love!!
