today the peanut had his first "solid" food. this is sort of mostly true. i've let him gnaw on grapes before (holding onto them so he can taste the juice). but we opened an actual jar of actual baby food tonight and let him at it. i don't think either one of us realized that orange food presents different issue than breastmilk. carrots everywhere... including down the inside of MY shirt. but here we go.

he turns 6 months old in a couple weeks. where the hell does the time go???
