I love when I get backlogged on entries over at Yarnstorm. It's like saving up a stack of goodies.

I love that Jane pays attention to names. Avery Bean and Lenora Button!!!!! Those may be the best ever. Although I did get the initial inspiration for A.'s southern name (Masie Plum Drinkwater) from Yarnstorm as well. And mine was Cordelia Rose Beaupre before the Buffy character came around.

Growing up I desperately wanted a nickname, I tried all kinds of things. One of which was Corky. God knows. Thankfully it didn't stick. None ever stuck. And now.... I answer to about 6 things pretty consistently.

Were I going to name a child there are many many permutations of names that I like. I'd probably have to give birth to a couple of scout troops to use them up. Since I'm not planning on breeding, maybe I should start naming everything else.
