Heh -- I just finished grading a paper in which a student argued (successfully, too) that *The Velveteen Rabbit* has a much more complex portrait of love than *Charlotte's Web*.

I too love Children's books. I recently visited my parents new home and they had put aside some boxes of my childhood things. Inside I found an old copy of the Velveteen Rabbit. It is so strange how much I enjoyed rereading it. I found that I relearned and remembered so many important things from reading it. I did some research and found that Feature Family Films is making a production of The Velveteen Rabbit. It is coming out in the Spring of 2009. It's at FamilyTv.Com and I am excited to see how they have portrayed this wonderful family story.
