- suddenly we have flies in the house. those jumbo bomber kind. where are they coming from???
- the entire house is a mess. every corner. normally this would drive me right over the edge, but i'm too busy to worry about it.

- i sent my mother the email about what we want for christmas. the day after she first asked. this may be the first time in history she won't be able to open every conversation for the entire span of autumn with "i still don't know what you want".
- whiteboards are really handy. ugly. but handy.
- the 2006 architect and designers diary is now available in stores. it's the best calendar diary (in the british sense of the word) ever.
- the bathroom is still not done.
