this is buck modeling one of our two new adirondack chairs. i've been a little obsessed with craigslist lately, and got these two lovely bits for SUPER cheap. almost free.

and i found some wooden wine crates the other day for cheap, craft storage solved.

and then i found the kind of chair i need for a top secret project, for almost free. turns out the guy who was selling it was someone i've said hello to at the dog park. and i know his dog walker.

and then i found a tent for free free free that is big that we can use to add to the portable architecture. turns out the guy was half a block away. literally. although we've never spoken before i did kind of wonder what the story was on that rental house. turns out we also were camping half a block from him at burningman.

things are finally settling in with freelance. there's a good rhythm going. at least good enough that i can usually turn down the really horrid stuff.
