nothing really
rain. starting a new scarf (b,'s got finished last night, and i'm lazy about the other projects), the cast of bridget jones II was on oprah - i should say "colin firth and some other people who don't matter were on oprah", waiting on some work stuff - some short term, some long term, need to give the dog a bath, wanting to travel, b. looked hot for work this morning. just stuff.
let's talk about you instead. how are YOU?

I'm doing great. I knitted Scott the Acorn Street hat (holding 2 strands of Encore DK). He loves it (thanks for the pattern). I think I'm gonna knit more hats. They knit up quickly.

Me? I'm just fine, if tremendously overworked. Two weeks from now (less, actually), I have a conference, and another one the weekend after that... and I haven't written the papers yet. And I have a stack of papers to mark, class to prepare, and a house that looks like a rubbish tip.
But as of this morning, I have ten long days to do all that stuff in, because My Hero just flew off to Ohio to spend the first bit of his, um, self-funded sabbatical to work for the Kerry campaign. That's my boy, takin' one for the team.
