so this was done last night. i only screwed up a little. and i didn't follow the pattern entirely either. had i done so 1) it would have been way too tall and 2) it might actually have fit better around the head.

we both have big heads, so i added a bit to the circumference. um. probably shouldn't have. but it's workable.
