the photo doesn't really do justice to how awful this dress is. you can't even see the butt bow!
we've started, albeit a bit late, shopping for burning man.
needless to say, that's the before pic on the dress. it will be shorter, and just this second i had a thought - perhaps there should be some stencil grafitti involved. perhaps something as simple as red flames painted on it. who knows.

OMG stencil graffiti would be so rockin cool on that dress.
(i have to admit albeit sheepishly that at the moment the photo loaded on my screen, i had that flash of oh shit she's engaged and please please please this can't possibly be the dress no don't let it be the dress she's so much more stylish than this oh god the dress and in my brain the words butt bow are flashing but i'm not sure why and oh wow those sleeves and the little back cutout and the julie andrews bands around those sleeves oh those sleeves and isn't it SO amazing how fast the human brain works and then i read and i have some peace, finally, after such a long .04589 seconds. whew.)
